We had so much fun shooting our summer cover at my home, bringing together some of the region’s favourite local businesses for a joyful afternoon of food, friends, colour and connection. It was the perfect reminder of what summer in the Mid-Western Region is all about - warm hospitality, great produce, and time shared with good people. This issue is also a celebration of growth and change. We’ve welcomed a wave of new businesses to the region - and seen some much-loved local favourites pass into new hands with fresh ideas and renewed energy. I love nothing more than getting behind a small business and seeing the community do the same. This magazine has always been about that - spotlighting the people who pour their heart into what they do and helping locals and visitors alike discover what makes our region so special. Flip over to our HOME section for more inspiration - from local makers and summer styling ideas to kitchen design, outdoor living, bathroom upgrades and smart ways to stay cool. Whether you’re building, refreshing or just dreaming, there’s something in there to get you inspired. As we head into the festive season, I encourage you to shop local this Christmas. Visit the markets, grab your gifts from local boutiques, fill your table with regional produce and wines, and support the people who make our towns so vibrant. Here’s to a sun-soaked summer and a community that shines just as bright.
