Rural waste transfer stations are for residents who do not receive a kerbside collection service to dispose of household waste and recycling. Domestic waste and recycling materials are transported to the Mudgee Waste Facility for landfill or sorting and processing. A four bin system is in place in Mudgee, Gulgong, Rylstone, Kandos and the villages of Charbon and Clandulla.
