Steve had begun the journey in 1984 and continued at the helm for nearly 30 years as the principal, witnessing God’s blessing through many a storm and breakthrough. Steven reflects: “On my first day as principal back in January 2014 after Steve Spies had retired, I found a gift at the school office door. A good friend, a Christian brother, left a sculpture of a cricketer wearing a helmet, pads and carrying a cricket bat. With it was a note comparing the cricketer’s equipment to the armour of God described in Ephesians 6, to encourage me as I began the principal’s journey. I still have it in my office.
