43 176 - Mark Joyce (Woy Woy) Title - Tracy (250 x 90 x 50cm) Materials - Recycled steel and enamel paint Price - $4,500 Artist’s Statement - Open to ones own interpretation. 177 - Bob Teasdale (Bowning) Title - Asymetrical (140 x 40 x 40cm) Materials - Corten steel Price - $800 Artist’s Statement - Our present topsy turvy world inspired me to create this sculpture. 178 - Joseph Apollonio (Sunbury) Title - Eye See You (310 x 170 x 150cm) Materials - Carbon steel and rock Price - $15,000 Artist’s Statement - I have combined metal and rock to create the human eye on a vine twisting and twirling within itself to reach the highest point. Like in life how we all strive to reach the highest point of our chosen path. 179 - François Jaggi (Armidale) Title - The Emu (200 x 70 x 40cm) Materials - Stainless Steel 316 grade, fibreglass and glass Price - $6,830 Artist’s Statement - A trip to Broken Hill inspired me to create this whimsical bird. The emu’s unique colours and size contrasted against the everchanging Australian landscape is a sight to behold. I have aimed to capture these comical and somewhat bemused features. 180 - Felix Feneley (Bondi) Title - Relic (220 x 75 x 75cm) Materials - Steel and concrete Price - $3,500 Artist’s Statement - In Relic, the artist extends his preoccupation with the transmutability of industrial materials. In the work the past and the future collide. Raw materials have been eroded and transformed, appearing more totemic than industrial.
