21 FEB: ARUSHA On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your guide will warmly welcome you and assist with your luggage before transferring you to Moivaro Lodge in Arusha. As you travel, take in the scenic Tanzanian landscape, with its rolling hills and lush greenery. Moivaro Lodge 22 FEB: NGORONGORO After breakfast, depart Arusha and begin your journey to Ngorongoro Farm House. Along the way, stop at the Arusha Cultural Heritage Centre to explore an impressive collection of African art, crafts, gemstones, and cultural exhibits. You can also visit Shanga House, an inspiring social enterprise where artisans with disabilities create beautiful handmade glassware, jewellery, and textiles, offering you the opportunity to watch the creative process and hear the stories behind each piece. After these enriching experiences, continue through the scenic countryside to arrive your lodge. Ngorongoro Farm House (BLD) 23 FEB: NGORONGORO CRATER Today, you will descend into Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the largest intact volcanic caldera on earth and home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. As you explore the crater floor, you may encounter elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and - if you are lucky - the rare black rhino. The diverse landscapes, from open grasslands to freshwater lakes and acacia forests, provide a stunning backdrop for photography and wildlife viewing. A picnic lunch will be served in a scenic spot within the crater before you continue your game drive, returning to your lodge in the late afternoon. Ngorongoro Farm House (BLD) 24/25 FEB: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA This morning, you will depart for Ndutu, located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, for an exciting game drive across its wildlife-rich plains. As you explore, keep watch for resident predators, grazing herds, and an abundance of birdlife in this stunning wilderness. Midday, you will arrive at your camp for a freshly prepared lunch before continuing your safari experience in the surrounding area. Spend the next day exploring the Ndutu region of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, renowned for its abundant wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Your game drives will take you across open plains, woodlands, and seasonal lakes, where you may encounter lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, elephants, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras.This area is especially famous during the calving season, when predator action is at its peak.
