DAY 1: WINDHOEK On arrival in Johannesburg, transit for your flight to Windhoek from where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon in Windhoek is free to explore the capital city of Namibia.Arebbusch Hotel or similar DAY 2: SESRIEM/SOSSUSVLEI Clients are met at the reception, where they are transferred to our camp located on the edge of the Namib Desert. Here you will meet your Kiboko guide and rest of the group. We enjoy a sunset walk in the dunes surrounding our camp. Fully Serviced Camping (BD) DAY 3: SOSSUSVLEI DUNES Depart early for Sossusvlei, stopping in the dune belt to witness the changing colours of the world’s highest sand dunes. We undertake a 5km walk to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. In the afternoon enjoy a short hike through the Sesriem Canyon. Fully Serviced Camping (BD) DAY 4: SWAKOPMUND Heading north, we reach the coast at Walvis Bay then arrive in Swakopmund and spend the afternoon exploring this German colonial town. Activities available include dolphin cruises, scenic flights over the vast Namib and more (own expense). Dundein Star Guest House or similar (B) DAY 5: SPITZKOPPE Leaving Swakopmund and set up camp among the boulders of the Spitzkoppe Mountains. The afternoon is free to explore the surrounding area on foot. The setting of our remote bushcamp is sure to leave a lasting impression. Fully Serviced Camping (BD) DAYS 6/7: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK We travel to Etosha National Park and travel through to Okaukeujo Rest Camp. This Park is one of the most important reserves and game sanctuaries in Africa, with thousands of wild animals such as blue wildebeest, springbok, zebra, kudu, giraffe, cheetah, leopard, lion and elephant making this area their home. Floodlit waterholes at Okaukeujo & Namutoni Rest Camp attract an abundance of animals throughout the evening, providing us with many amazing wildlife sightings. During our stay, we enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives. On Day 6 our camp will be based outside the Park, with Day 7 at Namutoni Rest Camp, inside Etosha. Fully Serviced Camping (BD) DAY 8: KAVANGO RIVER After a morning game drive, we exit Etosha and travel to Rundu on the banks of the Kavango River. Our camp is set amongst the lush vegetation overlooking the Kavango River. Fully Serviced Camping (BLD) DAY 9: OKAVANGO DELTA Depart Maun and driving around the panhandle we traverse to the northwest of the Okavango Delta. Arrive midafternoon at our campsite on the edge of the Okavango Delta. Enjoy a sunset boat excursion in the channels of the Delta. Fully Serviced Camping (BD) DAY 10: DELTA EXPERIENCES Experience mokoro and boat excursions in the back channels of the Nxamasire area of the Delta, with nature walks on the smaller islands in the area subject to the water levels. Fully Serviced Camping (BLD) DAY 11: CHOBE RIVER Continue through Botswana to Kasane where our camp is set up on the banks of the Chobe River. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery, sunsets, birds and wildlife. Fully Serviced Camping (BD) DAY 12: GAME-VIEWING CRUISE Enjoy a game-viewing boat cruise on the Chobe River. Optional game drive in Chobe (own expense) Fully Serviced Camping (BD) DAY 13: VICTORIA FALLS Travel across the border to Victoria Falls. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the many optional activities on offer (own expense). Cresta Sprayview Hotel or similar (B) DAY 14: DEPART VICTORIA FALLS Transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for your onward flight. Discover Namibia and Botswana on this exciting adventure. Walk the Sossusvlei Dunes, the highest in the world in the Namib Desert; see the wild animals of Etosha National Park; experience the untamed beauty of the Okavango Delta and relax along the Chobe River ending with the unforgettable sight of Victoria Falls.
