TOP SIRE 2026–2027 NSW FIELD DAYS New England Merino Field Day Friday 16 January 2026 | Uralla Showground The New England Merino Field Day took on a new one-day format in 2026 with a combination of Merino and other breeds on display at Uralla Showground. The biannual event aims to showcase the region’s sheep and wool industries in a the new format that brings together local studs in one location alongside guest speakers, such as Scott Carmody, Head of Domestic Operations at Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) at this year’s event. The 2026 event theme was “Fibre and Food – Merino and Meat”, bringing together 26 local studs in a central location.
