Stop by the visitor centre and read the outdoor story boards which share insights into Sir Hubert Wilkins’ fascinating life story. Follow Appila Road for 15kms and turn right onto the Hornsdale Road at the Caltowie North monument. Look for the cultural artwork on the windtower on your right. Along this road you can pull into an Information Bay where you can see the Big Battery, made famous by Elon Musk and get an insight into wind turbine energy.
