Encouraging children to guess how many eggs were in our Easter Bunny jar and testing their knowledge on big numbers. We had many guesses from our families in Carinda, Collarenebri and Walgett. The winners shared the content of the jar with friends and family. Mother’s Day 2025 was another great day of celebrating our Mother figures in our children’s lives. Nans, Aunties and Mothers all came to Goonimoo to enjoy a special morning tea laid out on a dressed table with beautiful flowers as the centrepiece. Our children made Mother’s Day cards, dream catchers and played our Gamilaraay Family Members – Learn our Language game. This game reinforces our group time lessons of Family member names in Gamilaraay language and everyone was a winner.
