26 | WATERLINE December 2025 INDUSTRY NEWS Marine Structures has completed a multi-million-dollar marina replacement at Coffs Harbour, NSW. The transformative project upgraded the existing infrastructure to provide a modern, attractive, and functional facility that provides improved safety, security, and serviceability, alongside a significantly enhanced waterfront experience. The redevelopment included the replacement of five marina arms and the installation of 143 new berths designed to accommodate vessels ranging from 10 to 30 metres. The scope of works included detailed design and engineering, demolition and disposal of the existing gangways and pontoons, and installation of new concrete deck pontoons with GFRP reinforcement. Additional works involved piling, service pedestals, fire services and the construction of modern gangways with secure access gates. Marine Structures Director, Jacob Morris explains, “This upgrade has been about more than replacing infrastructure – it’s about creating a safe, modern and sustainable facility that the boating community can be proud of.
