With a background in fabrication, Nick brings a valuable combination of hands-on technical knowledge and practical, solutions-focused approach to facility maintenance and project delivery, skills that are highly beneficial in a dynamic marina environment. As part of his professional development, Nick recently completed the MIA’s 2025 Intermediate Marina Management (IMM) Course in New South Wales. With this additional training and a fresh perspective, he is well-positioned to bring new ideas and continued improvements to the CYCSA’s marina operations. Known for his strong work ethic, commitment to member service, and dedication to ongoing professional development, Nick is looking forward to contributing to the continued growth and success of the Club’s marina precinct. Jeff’s background in business and hospitality-related fields, complemented by a range of professional certifications in culinary arts, wine and spirits, and leadership demonstrate a comprehensive foundation in management, culinary excellence and the food and beverage sector. Jeff is a member of the Club Management Association of America and the Club Management Association of Canada. A passionate sailor from an early age, Jeff raced competitively in both dinghies and keelboats and was a provincial sailing champion in 1990. His appointment marks a significant step forward in ICOMIA’s commitment to strengthening global partnerships and delivering high-impact programmes that support the sustainable growth, safety, social responsibility and the environment in the recreational marine sector. Prakash is an experienced marina professional with a strong regional track record, having held leadership roles in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam and brings valuable hands-on experience from sailing clubs in Singapore, including deep expertise in both regatta participation and event organisation. Royal Yacht Club of Victoria is pleased to announce Richard Black as the new General Manager at Royal Yacht Club of Victoria. With extensive experience in sports management, logistics, and business leadership, Richard has a strong background in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and operational management, with a proven record of developing high-performing teams and delivering sustainable growth. Max David Bushell has joined Dubai Harbour Marinas as Assistant Operations Manager. Having completed the Advanced Marina Management (AMM) course and honing his expertise at Bulgari’s luxury hotel and marina, Max brings both international experience and hands-on knowledge that will play a vital role in shaping extraordinary experiences for the Dubai Harbour Marinas community of yacht owners, residents, and visitors alike. Max is an avid boater and has competed in power boat racing in the United Kingdom. Before moving to Dubai, Max spent six years at Shepperton Marina, overseeing more than 400 berths, brokerage facilities, fuel, craning, and maintenance, where the marina earned The Yacht Harbour Association’s Inland Marina of the Year, 5 Gold Anchors, and Clean Marina accolades.
