Business Centres GOSFORDCBD Situated on the shores of Brisbane Water, Gosford CBD is a major public transport hub with rail and bus interchange and direct road links to Sydney and all other areas within the region. The CBD and surrounding residential areas are connected to the National Broadband Network with Fibre-to-the-Premises service. • Commercial Services – All major trading banks, building societies, credit unions and mortgage brokers are located in the CBD. Central Coast Council operates a Smart Work Hub in the CBD and has installed free Wi-Fi in the central CBD area. • Contact Centres - Major corporations have established Contact Centres in the CBD in recent years, they include: NRMA, Qantas, NIB Health Insurance. Long Service Leave Corp. and Suncorp. • Residential – High rise residential construction, within and adjacent to the CBD, is experiencing unprecedented activity that will result in a substantial increase in the population. • Education - Adjacent to the CBD are: Gosford High School a public, co-educational, academically selective high school, Henry Kendall High School – a comprehensive high school, Gosford Primary School for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. • Central Coast Stadium – Overlooking Brisbane Water, Central Coast Stadium was built in 2000 and hosts major sporting events such as National A-League Football matches, national rugby union games and other sporting events as well as concerts. Stadium capacity is 20,000. • West Gosford Hometown. Tenants include: Super Amart, BCF, Petbarn, BedsRus, Pillow Talk, Sheridan and others. • Dan Murphys, KFC and Caltex Service Station. Gosford Classic Car Museum established at a cost of some $85 million the museum showcases around 450 classic cars and is the largest in Australia.
