Retail Precincts Industrial Areas Across the region there are fourteen areas have been identified as strategic employment (industrial) areas. They are: Minor industrial areas are located throughout the region providing a wide range of support services to business and consumer. TUGGERAHBUSINESSPARK Tuggerah Business Park Tuggerah Business Park is regarded as the region’s premier business location. Covering 75 hectares, it provides the ideal environment for light manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, and office operations. Fully serviced with all utilities more than 200 businesses operate within this Park and include manufacturers, distribution centres and warehouses, construction companies and other professional and commercial services. Tuggerah Business Park is home to a number of international and national companies some of whom are: • Hachette Australia national distribution centre, • Belkin Australia head office, • Husqvarna Australia head office and distribution centre, • Pure Fishing Australia head office and national distribution centre, • Call Centres - NSW Police Assistance Line Call Centre, ING Direct Call Centre, Centrelink Call Centre, BERKELEYVALE INDUSTRIALAREA Berkeley Vale and the adjoining Fountaindale Industrial Areas are situated 5 – 6 kilometres east from the Tuggerah Exit of the M1 Pacific Motorway The headquarters of two of Australia’s major food companies – Mars Food Australia and Sanitarium – are located here. Medium-sized companies located in the area include: Halley & Mellowes, Linfox Food Services Distribution Centre, TrendPak, AND Life Health Foods Australia SOMERSBY INDUSTRIAL ESTATE Somersby Industrial Estate is located adjacent to the Gosford exit of the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway and covers almost 400 hectares. A number of international and national companies are located in this estate. They include: Manufacturing - 3S Lighting, Alushapes, Australian Conveyer Engineering, Baltimore Aircoil, BASF, Borg Manufacturing, CSR-Hebel, Komatsu Mining Group, Delta Laboratories, Robsons., N J Phillips, Protective Fencing, Rimex, Sapphire Aluminium Industries, Sulo, Thermit, and Reinforced Concrete Pipes Australia (RCPA). Warehousing and distribution - Garden City Products, Bidvest Frozen Foods, NORTHWYONG INDUSTRIALAREA North Wyong Industrial Estate and adjoining Enterprise Corridors is located approximately three kilometres north of the Wyong town centre and railway station. The area zoned 4a General Industrial was established about 40 years ago and comprises approximately 150 hectares while two areas either side, zoned Enterprise Corridors, have been developed in recent years. Kincumber The Kincumber retail precinct is centered on the Kincumber Shopping Centre with Coles supermarket and complementary retail offerings. A small number of fast food outlets and the Kincumber Hotel are located in the immediate area. WoyWoy Woy Woy is a well established retail precinct with two shopping centres and retail strip. Deepwater Plaza is anchored by a Coles Supermarket and Kmart while the Peninsula Plaza comprises a Woolworths Supermarket and small number of complementary retail stores. Ettalong Beach The Ettalong Beach retail strip caters primarily to the visitor market with a number of food outlets. Umina Beach The Umina Beach retail precinct with major retailers Woolworths, Coles, Aldi and Bunnings plus a strong strip retail offering attracts customers from areas as far as Kariong and Empire Bay.
