17 Commercial Insight May 2020 How much does advertising online cost? There are a number of options across di ff erent portals to choose from. It also depends on where your property is geographically located. Options are available from $250 + GST. Your agent can provide you with all the options available and recommend the best online product for your property after completing some research on your behalf based on what you will be competing against. What other digital advertising has been working? We have an extensive database across the Brisbane Southside and Bayside markets which we can quickly and professionally market your property to via email throughout the campaign. We also now live in the social media world! More and more people in the business community are connecting through platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook which enable us to market to certain industry groups and professions. This is a great cost e ff ective way to increase your property’s “brand awareness” and drive more tra ffi c and visits to your online listing. What other advertising increases your property’s pro fi le? The answer to this question is dependent on whether your property is for lease or for sale (and the method of sale). More traditional methods of marketing which include on site signage and hand delivered brochures to the surrounding area (to the best of our knowledge we are the only agency who completes this for our exclusive properties) remain critical marketing mediums as history shows that buyers and tenants typically move within 5km’s of their existing location. When selling (particularly Auction or Expressions of Interest) print advertising is also a fantastic medium to capture well quali fi ed local and interstate buyers. This is an advertising method that should always be considered when selling via Auction or Expressions of Interest. In summary … There are many marketing options available for your property and your agent can guide you through the best options for you based on budget and researching the properties you will be competing against to ensure you stand out in the crowd! No ma tt er the economic climate, implementing the right marketing strategy is critical. In addition, selecting an agent that will take on full responsibility for your property and provide concise feedback will ensure your property is not just another on the list.
