Raine and Horne

Guiding the Super Brand Into a New Century Raine & Horne hence developed ProcessPlus, a sales system designed as an end-to-end sales workflow for salespeople, principals, assistants and administrators. Developed in conjunction with professional sales coach Daniel Spencer, ProcessPlus offers complete integration behind each step including training videos, checklists, templates, and visual strategies, ensuring that each step is completed at the highest productivity standard. Sweet designs and AFR rich-listers DesignPlus is Raine & Horne’s Marketing platform which links directly to CompassPlus. This platform allows users to create marketing collateral—such as window cards, property guides, stocklists, brochures, DLs and eNewsletters—they can send directly to their database. In 2022, Raine & Horne partnered with Canva, led by AFR RichListers Melanie Perkins and Cliff Obrecht. Canva for real estate enables agents to create, collaborate, and design print and digital real estate marketing materials in one place, from any device. Angus said: “The partnership with Canva enabled us to streamline our marketing and design processes. With hundreds of pre-designed templates, from EDM headers to Instagram tiles, with the backing of Canva, our agents have yet another edge over the competition.” Award-winning training Raine & Horne has always made a significant investment in partnerships across the firm’s national team. Carefully planned recruitment and retention initiatives, ongoing business support and development programs and company-wide training ensure each office is operating at its optimum. The highly regarded National Learning Academy (that launched in the early 2000s) saw the best trainers and speakers from within the Raine & Horne network, as well as external experts, share their expertise and knowledge across the group. Coupled with world class training programs, Raine & Horne is committed to coaching proprietors to ensure the highest level of service at a local level, and more broadly, to ensure Raine & Horne maintains its reputation as a market leader and the premier real estate network in Australia. Fast forward to 2023, and training and development is managed by the Group’s National Products & Training Manager, but the spirit of the National Learning Academy lives on. The industry recognises the efforts Raine & Horne invests in its training. At the glittering 2022 REB Awards held at The Star in Sydney in March 2022, the super brand carried off the prestigious Training and Education Program of the Year award. The firm won recognition for the massive rollout of education courses in 2021 totaling 160 courses for principals, sales agents, property managers and administrative staff, and training support for new products such as ProcessPlus. If Captain Raine could see us now It is quite remarkable to think that in 1814, Captain Thomas Raine navigated his way through Sydney Harbour and the reefs off far north Queensland using a simple length of rope tied with a piece of lead. Some 200 years later, the firm that bears his name is also forging a path – this time in the property industry by embracing the very latest technology and training platforms. As new technology continues to emerge at a rapid pace, there can be no doubt any investment in innovation has to be regarded as ongoing. Raine & Horne has made a clear commitment to being a market leader in the adoption of technology and training and development that strengthens the brand and offers an improved experience for customers.
