Around the town We might be biased, but the areas in which we work are premiere Brisbane suburbs - dotted with prestige schools, great shopping, amazing parkland and easy access to the airport. Recently the old car park adjacent to Eagle Farm racecourse underwent major refurbishment, and like a moth to a butterfly it emerged a beauty! Officially opened in November, the new name of Ascot Park was announced. It’s wonderful to see a new green space and many families have been using the park with its BBQ areas and the popular shaded playground. Around the corner, the Kingsford Smith Drive upgrade has made significant progress. As a key gateway, this widening of a major corridor is also providing a riverside promenade and dedicated cycle path 1.2km long. Shaded rest stops have been created with viewing platforms that capture both the river and CBD vistas. At Brett’sWharf a new urban plaza and entertainment venue has already showcased its first music event. We are surrounded by upgrades of infrastructure: $35million spent on creating an entertainment precinct at our local shopping centre which has mostly opened; the list goes on and on! No wonder we attract such terrific tenants – we live, work and play in a great locality. The past twelve months have seen us lease over 200 properties and we are continuing strongly as we head into 2020. We are experiencing a great spree of lettings which traditionally continues right through into February. Tenant requirements remain the same year in, year out. A family will generally need a property that is close to good schools, child care, shops, health care and public transport. Everyone seeks a modern kitchen and bathroom and in Queensland especially; air conditioning. COMMITMENT COMMUNICATION CONSISTENCY
