Ray White Frenchs Forest
You’ll have been hard-pressed to avoid a doom and gloom story about the property market of late. For Australians whose primary asset is often their home, it can be rather unsettling. Our view is that our local area has evolved into a two speed market. Older and unrenovated homes are selling just above land value and well below replacement cost. Newer housing stock, properties in potential future development zones, and well renovated properties are selling strongly as evidenced by the notable sales we have highlighted within the report. We are seeing a significant market adjustment after six strong years of growth. Lower and/ or more stable prices at the entry level of the market means affordability improves for those who would otherwise find a home priced out of their reach. If you’re selling and buying in the same market, there are good opportunities to be had in upsizing to larger older properties and renovating. If you’re looking to buy, sell, invest or just research the market, we welcome you to experience the RayWhite difference for yourself, as we help you achieve your ‘great Australian dream’.
