Last year we were a part of the “Doing it for our farmers” donation drive. The response we received from our local community was astonishing, with tens of thousands of dollars of non-perishable foods, household supplies, water and much more being donated to assist those ravished by drought. You may have even donated yourself, and if so we are extremely grateful for your contribution. Throughout the year we partnered with the Somersby Rural Fire Service to run deliveries of these donations to communities in need out in the bush. 12 months on, and whilst the Central Coast has enjoyed recent rainfalls, the fight is far from over for many rural communities. Even those which have seen some rainfall relief are now desperately in need of help to rebuild their farms and their lives. So this year, we’ve decided the best way we can help, is by doing what we do best. For every property we list and sell for the next 12 months we will donate $500 of the sale commission to farmers drought relief. If you’re not looking to sell, but still want to help, then you can simply drop non perishable food or household supplies into our office, just like last year! Our farmers still need your help! You guys are amazing! Thank you so very much to you and all of the wonderful people down there who donated. Let me assure everyone that we as a group “Doing it for our Farmers” and every farming family that your donations help are eternally grateful. This load will make so many care packages that we will distribute and it really makes a difference in a lot of lives. Sending love fromMurrurundi. Justine Cooper
