The new office will be managed by Gary Charlwood, who has been part of the Marine Structures team for the past two years and brings more than 25 years of experience in the marina construction industry. In addition to its Queensland operations and new Sydney presence, Marine Structures has also established a strategic joint venture with JMC in Western Australia, strengthening its ability to service projects nationally and deliver locally supported marine infrastructure solutions across key markets. Marine Structures Managing Director Dane Morris said the Sydney office reinforces the company's commitment to being closer to its clients and projects. "Having a permanent presence in Sydney allows us to better support our growing client base across New South Wales while leveraging Gary's extensive industry knowledge and relationships. Combined with our Western Australian joint venture and established Queensland operations, we're well positioned to deliver high-quality marine infrastructure projects right across Australia." MELBOURNE BOAT SHOW The Melbourne Boat Show returns to Docklands from 15–18 October 2026, for four days of boats, marine innovation, entertainment, and waterfront excitement to the heart of Melbourne. Now in its 64th year, the show will bring together an impressive showcase of boats, outboards, electronics, fishing equipment, accessories and marine services from leading brands and businesses. An enhanced layout will bring the action even closer to Melbourne’s CBD and Marvel Stadium, creating a vibrant and connected visitor experience across the Docklands waterfront. Visitors can explore the latest products, meet marine experts, and discover new ways to enjoy life on, in and around the water. Beyond the displays, a high-energy program of demonstrations, entertainment, educational exhibits, and interactive activities will keep the whole family engaged. Whether you are an experienced boater, keen angler, water sports enthusiast, considering your first boat, or simply looking for a great family day out, there will be something to see, learn, and experience. Presented by the Boating Industry Association of Victoria (BIAV), the Melbourne Boat Show is a celebration of Victoria’s boating community and a must-visit event for anyone who loves boats and the boating lifestyle.
