CBH has grown from a sole surveyor practice established in Erina in 1973 and now comprises Directors, Stephen Bishop, Rod Fletcher, Ian Harvey and Paul Hutcheon plus a staff of 15. Following the merger all Directors have been engaged by Intrax as Survey Managers except Rodney Fletcher who is Civil Engineer Manager. “Becoming part of a multi-disciplinary organisation will allow us to offer our existing clients a wider range of in-house services, reducing the number of consult- ants they would normally have to engage with,” they said. Founded in Victoria in 2003 Intrax pro- vides a comprehensive end-to-end engi- neering service including: structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, surveying, and geotechnical engineering. Commenting on the merger Barry Borzillo, Managing Director of Intrax said, “This is an extremely positive develop- ment for Intrax and in particular for our New South Wales clients. We are invest- ing heavily to grow our NSW business with this acquisition and that of ESG Surveyors in August 2017. Overall, this acquisition is another step in our jour- ney to become the leading Engineering Consultancy Company in Australia and takes our overall employee number to over 300”.
