Wednesday 17 August 2016

8:30am – 12:00pm

(Clarendon Auditorium, Melbourne Convention &

Exhibition Centre)

Hosted by AACS, the AACS Leadership Summit has rapidly

become the premier think tank for the industry’s leaders. For the

first time AACS has opened this prestigious event to all delegates

to C&I 2016 and suppliers and retailers who are not members of

AACS are invited to attend.

Host: Jeff Rogut, CEO of AACS.

Speakers “Inspiring Change”:

Every year, young aspirants in the industry are invited to make a

written submission of a specified industry subject. For this year

the topic is, “In light of increasing competition, particularly from

supermarkets, pharmacies, dollar stores and low price retailers,

how can convenience stores enhance value in order to generate

profitable and sustainable growth?”

In the weeks before the judging a panel of four expert judges culls

the entrants down to a final six, each of whom will make a personal

presentation before the audience at C&I 2016. The presentations

are always innovative, refreshing and thought provoking. AACS

retail members and associate members will then cast their votes

and the two winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Dinner

that evening. For the first time, all delegates to C&I 2016 are

invited to attend.
