Welcome to my very first official
Australian National Tour!
Performing on the global stage at the Eurovision Song Contest in a roaring stadium on the other side of the world was a
life-changing experience that I will never forget. This tour is also an unforgettable experience and something that I will
treasure for the rest of my life. It has always been a dream of mine to perform the music that I’m passionate about in
front of an intimate group of people and my most loyal fans and friends.
Music has always been a huge part of my life, especially that of The Carpenters. Putting together the Classic Carpenters
album took patience and a lot of hard work, but it was an incredibly enjoyable experience for me as I was working with
well-crafted masterpieces. After releasing the album, many people have come and told me such nice things about my
interpretation of these well-known songs, and how they bring back memories. I hope that as my band and I perform these
songs for you live, it will stir up those forgotten memories and nostalgia from the past that you may have.
Of course I’m also excited to perform some of my original songs and other favourites of mine. From my humble
beginnings singing my first gig in a Chinese restaurant to X-Factor, having hit singles and albums and Eurovision, it has
been quite a ride, one that I’m forever grateful for and the opportunity to grow not only musically but personally.
I’d also like to thank Denis Handlin, Sony Music and the Parade Management team for their continued support and
belief in me, and where would I be without the amazing DamiArmy who have continued to inspire me each and every day
and above all, my beautiful family and my husband and wing-man, Noah!
I am really looking forward to getting to know you more throughout the show and tour and I truly hope it is a special
experience for you. I know it will be for me.
