14 INSIDE Harcourts Hi TeamHarcourts, As another year draws to a close it’s a great time to reflect onwhat we’ve accomplished, andwhat we’ve learnt about ourselves. The year certainly deliveredmany opportunities to test our resolve and ability to adapt to changingmarkets, and a changing world. One thing I’ve learnt over the years is that there are always opportunities, no matter themarket. Wemay just have to look harder to find them. It’s beenwonderful for our team to be able to reconnect at events around the world this year. Our HX conferences were truly spectacular, and I can’t wait for May next year whenwe get to do it again! There is nothing as powerful as being face-to-face – something we should remember when it comes to building relationships with our clients. I trust that many of youwould have achieved your goals for the year. If not, it’s a valuable exercise to evaluate where the areas for improvement are andwhat learnings you can take into the new year. There is no such thing as failure whenwe take the learnings to get better. And the good news is, we get a fresh chance to do it all again in 2023. For me the year remindedme of the importance of gratitude. We all have our individual challenges in life and it’s easy to be negative and make excuses. Sometimes life isn’t fair andwe’re blindsided by things we never expectedwould happen. But it’s howwe respond that mattersmost. Being grateful for what we have. For the friends and family that fill our lives. For our health. For the small things. And in our Harcourts world, the opportunity we have each day tomake a difference in the lives of others. It’s an honour and a privilege to be entrustedwith the sale or management of peoples’ homes, or to find a family a newhome they can call their own. Whenwe deliver an exceptional experience we make a difference. Make themost of that opportunity. Focus on your successes for the year. Celebrate them. Take the learnings and build them into your plan for 2023 so that the new year brings you everything you deserve. Take care over the holiday season and enjoy the time with your loved ones.
