by the principal of the firm Mr
Horst Merten.
Mr Merten specialises in commer-
cial and property law in the rural
and regional industry sector.
Mr Merten’s transaction practice
includes conducting rural property
conveyances, rural and commer-
cial property leasing and business
conveyancing.
Mr Merten advises on subdivi-
sions and creating of easements,
commercial structures, SMSF
setups and personal and business
succession.
Mr Merten also has over 14 years
experience as a commercial and
civil litigator, conducting cases in
the Supreme and District Courts
involving contractual, build-
ing, partnership and succession
disputes.
Rachel Haynes is a conveyancer
working for the firm for over 10
years.
Ms Haynes’ practice includes
residential property conveyancing,
water access licence conveyances,
rural road enclosures and closures,
rural property conveyancing. Ms
Hayne’s also conducts probate and
estate administration matters.
With the commencement of e con-
veyancing in Australia, Ms Hayne
has been instrumental in setting up
the firm’s capacity to participate
in this future method in which all
future property transitions will be
conducted in Australia.
Mr Merten and Ms Haynes are
supported by Legal Secretaries,
Rebekah Young in our Wee Waa
office and Ashleigh Myers in our
Narrabri office (Ashleigh is cur-
rently on maternity leave).
