11 Photo Tips Y ou need a FriendlY portrait not just a mug shot . When selecting a photograph of yourself to use on your Profile Builder, it is important to use a professional photographer to ensure the best results. Careful choice of location, background, lighting, what you wear and the way you pose are the necessary details that a professional photographer will take care of. Unless a client insists we use the backgound of the photograph supplied, we will generally “deep etch” (cut out) the pic and place it on the card, giving a much more “integrated” design. Because of this we ask you to ask your photographer not to crop off your shoulders and arms! W hat You see is What You get . Your photograph should reflect an image of confidence, good character and reliability. A cheap photo will deliver the corresponding image. Send us full length, or from the waist up, shots.
