UOWhas been a strong supporter
of Southern Stars for the past
16 years. It’s by performing on
that very stage that many young
performers decide to pursue their
passion for the arts at the highest-
rated university in NSW

This year we welcome the University of
Wollongong as a ‘Star Sponsor’ financing
workshops for both the Southern Stars Performing
Company and specialist groups. These powerful
workshops extend our students and have included
dancers working with Emma Hawthorne, Brad
Green and Camilla Jakimowicz to produce
the exciting routines you will see in the songs
Juggernaut, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,
and Heroes.
The singer/songwriter workshop with Liam Cooper
produced a special original song, titled Ignite and
the mass drama workshops with Lucy Armstrong,
Liz Gilbert and Cassidy Richardson resulted in the
Illawarra 200 segment. We thank University of
Wollongong for its continuing support.
