UTS:INSEARCH students can choose from a variety of accommodation options whilst studying.

Whether it’s with a homestay family, by the beach or a city apartment overlooking the harbour,

Sydney has it all.

HOMESTAY

An international student who is new to Australia can apply to live with a homestay family during

their studies. Living with a local family is a great way for students to experience life in Australia and

practice their spoken English. All of our homestays have been specially chosen to ensure that a safe

and supportive home environment is provided. Each home is within 45-60 minutes traveling time

from the campus, in a variety of locations around Sydney.

Please note: international students under the age of 18 must live in accommodation

approved by UTS:INSEARCH.

STUDENT ACCOMMOCATION

International students over 18 years of age can choose to live in student accommodation, located

near the UTS:INSEARCH campus and facilities. This is a popular choice for students who want to

engage in a student community and experience city living. There are several student accommodation

providers in Sydney, including (but not limited to) Urbanest, UniLodge and Iglu.

UTS:INSEARCH ACCOMMODATION SPECIAL OFFER

Urbanest, in collaboration with UTS:INSEARCH, offers students high-quality and safe

accommodation options, all conveniently located in the city and at a reduced rate. Students benefit

from a free Sydney airport pickup, welcome pack and household items to help settle in. Sharing

accommodation with fellow classmates helps create a home-away-from-home and a fun community

away from campus.
