Ray White Clayfield
AsWinter approaches, our sponsorship season begins in earnest. Each year our Principal Tony Cicchiello takes great pride in being a supporter of the University of Queensland’s School of Music with the involvement of RayWhite Clayfield now in its 21st year. Annually, we are able to invite a group of valued clients and customers to attend QPAC and enjoy a special afternoon school concert. This year, the UQOrchestra, conducted byWarwick Potter, presented a program in choral collaboration with invited secondary schools in a performance celebrating the musical dynamism of the United States. Included in this afternoon concert was Gershwin’s ever-popular Rhapsody in Red, White & Blue along with a selection of other toe-tappers. Another perennial favourite, especially among our staff, is the annual Kalinga Dash. 2019’s event is scheduled for Sunday 11th August. This community event is also proudly sponsored by RayWhite Clayfield and is the major fundraiser for the Eagle Junction State School. Our local Kalinga Park is turned into a sea of colour as families come together in a fun and healthy environment, with a 7.5, 4.2 and 2km fun run/walk along with the kid’s 2km dash. Rides and food trucks are set up in the surrounding parkland, and RayWhite Clayfield staff man the bag drop station and the late starters area. The highlight of the day is when we give away the RayWhite bike, awarded to the winner of the Eagle Junction colouring competition. It’s gearing up to be a busy season of community and sponsorship – it’s great to be part of the wider Clayfield community – we love it!
