We take this opportunity to look back at what has certainly been a successful 12 months in the
real estate market.
2016 was a positive year for homeowners and investors. The high growth rates we’ve
experienced over the past couple of years have been outstanding! One might question ‘when
it will all stop?’. However if you are selling and buying in the same market and within the same
local area, it’s all relative. Conversely, we were pleased to represent clients throughout 2016 who
moved to different market places in either Australia or overseas, having sold for a premium price
and enjoying a healthy profit.
The 2017 market is well and truly in full swing.Vendors and buyers have been able to enjoy a
fresh start to the year post the holiday break, with both parties looking to either sell or secure their
new home in the early stages of the year. Stock is slightly higher than this time last year and it is
anticipated that it will remain a sellers’ market for at least the first two quarters of 2017.
We are pleased to announce that last year Belle Property Dee Why sold the highest volume of
properties within agencies across the northern beaches for the second year in a row, with most
properties being sold by Auction.The highest sale achieved in Cromer was $2,050,000 and I am
confident that this sale price will be exceeded throughout 2017.
My team and I are extremely thankful for the trust that Cromer residents have bestowed us over
the past 12 months. Our traction and belief in the Cromer market can undoubtedly be attributed
to the support from its many residents. So thank you!
