MILLA VLATKO Ballet Girl Milla is an enthusiastic dancer with 9 years’ of experience. She has successfully represented the National College of Dance in ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance across numerous eisteddfods. In addition to dance, Milla is an accomplished musician, playing both the piano and clarinet. She thoroughly enjoys representing her school in concert, premier, and jazz bands, and enjoys public speaking, winning numerous zone and regional competitions. In 2022, she was part of the successful HunterCentral Coast state debating team. Billy Elliot the Musical is MIlla’s debut with The Very Popular Theatre Company. NERIDA WALKER Clipboard Woman, ensemble Nerida’s love of theatre was cemented studying drama and acting at University of Newcastle. She has performed in various musical theatre and dramatic productions in Newcastle and Sydney: Mamma Mia! (The Very Popular Theatre Company), Chess (The Very Popular Theatre Company), Mrs Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol (Hunter Drama), Mary Poppins (Metropolitan Players), Sister Margareta in The Sound of Music (Opera Hunter), Morgan Fairchild in Trevor (Knock and Run Theatre Company), Mrs Sowerberry in Oliver! (Hunter Drama), and Frau Schmidt in The Sound of Music (Willoughby Theatre Company). ELISE WATSON Ballet Girl Elise has been dancing for 9 years, falling in love with the stage at age 2. In 2021, Elise was accepted into Hunter School of the Performing Arts. She has performed in local school productions of Seussical JR. (2018) and Madagascar: A Musical Adventure JR. (2022), as well as NSW Public Schools State Dance Festival and Primary Proms (2022). Elise is a passionate and tireless ballet, jazz, acro, and contemporary dancer and was named the Institute of Dance Junior Dancer of the Year 2022. Billy Elliot the Musical is Elise’s debut with The Very Popular Theatre Company. IVY WILSON Ballet Girl Ivy is a student at Hunter School of the Performing Arts who has danced since she was able to walk. She studies ballet, contemporary, and jazz at Lake Macquarie Dance Academy and musical theatre with Hunter Drama. Ivy performed the role of Young Fiona in Shrek the Musical JR., and Zelda in Madagascar: A Musical Adventure JR. for HSPA. She was a member of the featured ensemble in Hunter Drama’s Oliver! here on the Civic stage and, more recently, performed with the cast of Seussical in the Junior Theatre Festival Australia, winning Most Outstanding Production. Billy Elliot the Musical is Ivy’s debut with The Very Popular Theatre Company. RORY WORTHINGTON Scab, ensemble Rory Charles has been an active member of the Newcastle theatre community since 2017. Previous credits include the highly acclaimed award-winning production of Jersey Boys (The Very Popular Theatre Company) in 2022, Munkustrap in Cats Abridged (Young People’s Theatre) in 2017, Alex the Lion in Madagascar: A Musical Adventure JR. (Young People’s Theatre) in 2019, and Children of Eden JR. (Young People’s Theatre) in 2020. 33
