July 2025 WATERLINE | 25 MARINAS26 REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN The countdown is on! With just under a year until the Marinas26 International Conference and Trade Exhibition, registrations are now open. This flagship event for marina owners, operators, and suppliers will be held 25-26 May 2026 at the Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast. Building on the success of Marinas24 in Brisbane, which attracted a record 384 delegates, Marinas26 is shaping up to be the largest gathering of the marina industry yet. Exhibitor interest has been overwhelming, with over 80% of expanded trade show space already booked (see full list of exhibitors at Marinas26.com). The continuing growth of the event means that there are few hotels that have the capacity to host the event. The Royal Pines Resort can accommodate the entire event, including conference sessions, trade exhibition, networking functions and accommodation under one roof, providing delegates with unparalleled convenience and opportunities to connect. Marina Industries Association (MIA) CEO, Suzanne Davies expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “Marinas26 will be our biggest and best event yet. The Royal Pines venue allows us to attract more exhibitors and delegates and deliver a seamless experience that combines learning, networking, and business development.” The conference program is currently in development and will provide a rich blend of informative presentations, international industry insights, and discussions on current challenges and opportunities. Structured networking sessions will ensure delegates can reconnect with familiar faces while forging new partnerships. Marinas26 will kick off on the evening of Sunday 24 May, with a Welcome Reception poolside at the Royal Pines, sponsored by Pelagic Risk Services. The two-day conference and trade exhibition will run Monday and Tuesday, culminating in the spectacular Marine Structures Gala Dinner on Tuesday night, where the resort’s tennis courts will be transformed into an unforgettable dining venue. For those keen to explore further, an optional Study Tour of the Gold Coast’s marina facilities will take place on Wednesday 28 May. The timing of Marinas26 also allows delegates to combine their trip with the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show the preceding weekend, with discounted accommodation rates at the Royal Pines Resort extended for early arrivals. With only a handful of exhibition booths remaining and accommodation capped at 300 rooms, early registration and bookings are highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
