Craig will continue to assist FSC progressing the club’s development projects currently underway. During his time, Evans played an important role in strengthening club operations and development, providing significant contributions to long-term infrastructure planning, maintenance strategies, berth capacity development and comprehensive marina condition assessments, resulting in MIA International Clean Marina Accreditation. The Board, staff and members thank Craig for his professionalism, steady leadership and operational focus throughout his tenure. PHUKET YACHT HAVEN - DANIEL SRIMONGKOI Phuket Yacht Haven is pleased to announce Daniel Srimongkol as Marina Manager. Daniel brings to the role a background in the United States Navy, where he developed strong operational and team leadership experience. Since moving into the marina sector, he has focused on service standards, operational systems and day-to-day performance within a luxury waterfront environment. Fluent in English and Thai, Daniel is well positioned to work across both international and regional markets. In his role, he will oversee marina operations, with an emphasis on service consistency, team development and strengthening Phuket Yacht Haven’s reputation as a premier superyacht destination in the region. BOATING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION, VICTORIA DAVED LAMBERT Daved Lambert has been appointed Vice President of the Boating Industry Association, Victoria (BIAV). A Board Member since 2019, Daved “has contributed an enormous amount to BIAV, including involvement in major projects and overseeing its investment portfolio”, said BIAV President, Scott O’Hare. Daved brings extensive business expertise, in-depth industry knowledge, and a strong passion for boating to the executive team. INDUSTRY MOVES CRUISING YACHT CLUB OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA - CATHERINE FOREMAN The Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia has announced the appointment of Catherine Foreman as General Manager. Catherine joins the Club from Belgravia Leisure, where she was General Manager (South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory) leading multi-site operations across people leadership, commercial performance, stakeholder engagement, capital asset management, and hospitality and food & beverage services. Catherine brings excellent leadership capability, strong financial discipline, and a practical, data-driven management style. She holds an MBA in Sport Management from Deakin University and has a long-standing connection to sailing and boating, having grown up sailing at Brighton Seacliff through to her teenage years. D'ALBORA EAST COAST MARINA, D’ALBORA YACHT BROKERS - CHRISTOPHE VANEK Christophe Vanek has been appointed as General Manager of d’Albora East Coast Marina and the Queensland Yacht Broker for d’Albora Yacht Brokers. Christophe brings more than 30 years of marine industry experience as an international yacht broker and senior operator, having worked across Australia and the Middle East with leading global boat brands and brokerage networks. He has also held senior management roles within major marine businesses, giving him a practical, service-led approach that aligns directly with the expectations of marina members and boat owners. A production multihull and monohull specialist across sail and power, Christophe is known for clear advice, strong market knowledge and a global network built over decades in the industry. Backed by handson experience at sea, he offers genuine technical understanding alongside commercial capability. WESTERNPORT MARINA - PETER CREAM Westernport Marina, Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, has recently welcomed Peter Cream to their team as General Manager. Peter’s 30-year career background includes time spent in engineering disciplines, the oil and gas sector, commercial shipping and harbour towage activities in Victoria and Queensland. Peter holds an MBA from USQ and is looking forward to establishing networks within the marina sector at the upcoming Marinas26 International Conference and Trade Exhibition on the Gold Coast in May. Peter has enjoyed joining the experienced local marina team and meeting with the marina community which includes a number of long-standing boat owners with plenty of stories to tell!
