7 Older Persons Advocacy Network Supporting you to understand and exercise your aged care rights OPAN is made up of nine state and territory network member organisations. They can help you, your family and carers to exercise your rights and work through issues you may be experiencing with your aged care. ARAS – aged rights advocacy services inc is the state-based organisation in South Australia. Support – Free, independent and confidential advocacy support to help you raise issues with aged care. The Code gives the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) the power to deal with behaviour that does not meet the Aged Care Code. The Aged Care Code has been developed based on the existing NDIS Code of Conduct.
