6 PREVENTION Typical Hazards and Points to be Noted:  Faulty electrical wiring or appliances  Items blocking access to exits, egress, re protection appliances and alarms  Ensure that doors to stairwells are closed or close automatically at all times  Report items that block a clear view of emergency signs  Report any missing or discharged extinguishers  Report any leakage of ammable gases or liquids  Report any excessive collection of rubbish, dust or spill of liquids FIRE PREVENTION IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EVERY OCCUPANT. YOU ARE EXPECTED TO REPORT ANY MATTER WHICH YOU CONSIDER IS A POTENTIAL HAZARD.
