29 INSIDE Harcourts In August, the Harcourts Foundation in NewZealand launched an appeal to help some of Fiji’smost vulnerable as the country battles Covid-19. The appeal ran for just over three weeks and raised over $18,000 for a range of registered charities supporting orphans, the elderly, disabled children andmore. Our Fiji Appeal got a big boost fromHolmwood business owner Tony Jenkins whowas the top bidder at an auction held at the 2021 NewZealand Leadership Conference. Tony’s winning bid of $4,500 secured him14 VIP tickets and a fabulous night out at StanWalker’s 2021 ‘All In’ Tour. 100%of the funds will be donated to the Harcourts Foundation (NZ) Fiji Appeal. NewRound 50 Grants The latest round of grants closed off in August with 21 grants beingmade to community organisations throughout the country totalling $40,413.
