6 INSIDE Harcourts Devi Naidoo Accounts Assistant, Harcourts New Zealand Devi was born and raised in South Africa before coming to NewZealand in 2001 where she spent the next 15 years setting up and operating several businesses in the hospitality industry. In 2018, Devi graduatedwith a Bachelor of Accountancy fromMassey University in Auckland. Devi enjoys spending time with her close-knit family which includes her parents and three younger sisters. She is a keen gardener, enjoys tramping and is a volunteer victimsupport advocate at SHINE. Devi loves the ‘People First’ culture at Harcourts. Tania Greig National Performance Coach / NZ Head of Academy, Harcourts New Zealand Tania Greig grewup inMaketu, moved to Auckland as an 18-year-old and spent many years as a High School Teacher in South Aucklandwhile raising her daughters. In 2005 Tania started as a real estate licensee in Papakura, with Conifer Grove as her focus area. She quickly achieved number one status in her branch and became a top performer in her company. From there Tania combined her real estate knowledge with her education background and has been in a trainingmanager position for the past 10 years. Tania’s personal interests revolve around sport, her family and time at the beach. Allen Yang Member Support - General Insurance, Astute Financial Management With his zest for the insurance industry and burning ambition to become an insurance specialist, Allen has embarked on his new role with Astute to assist the team in supporting and developing its diverse portfolio of accounts. Allen has years of work experience as a corporate bankingmanager in China and in a propertymanagement role in Auckland. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family and likes camping, playing basketball and video games. Grace Hartley South Island Academy Support and Reception, Harcourts New Zealand After working as an Early Childhood Teacher for the past four years, Grace is delighted to take on new challenges and opportunities with her new role at Harcourts. She has a passion for people and is excited to be part of a company where this is such an important value. She is a regular attendee at an array of live music events, loves hitting the walking tracks around Christchurch and is always up for a coffee or two. WELCOME CORPORATE TEAM Joe De Sousa Business Development Manager, Astute Financial Management Joe De Sousa joined Astute in April 2021, bringingmore than 20 years' experience in the financial services and banking industries. Joe spent three years as a personal manager at BNZ beforemoving toWestpac, where he spent five and a half years as amobilemortgagemanager beforemoving back to BNZ, where he spent 12 years as a regional and bankmanager. Most recently, Joe worked as a personal manager specialising in lending and training. He will be responsible for recruiting, mentoring and training new advisers joining Astute Financial. Kathryn Calvert National Communications Manager, Harcourts New Zealand (maternity cover for Joan Penny) Kathryn has joined Harcourts NewZealand as National Communications Manager for two days per week (Thursday and Friday). A seasoned journalist, Kathryn has worked extensively within themedia and communications sectors, most recently in health screening and education. She has edited several magazines, worked asmedia liaison for the University of Auckland Business School, undertook communications for Parliamentary Services andwas inaugural communicationsmanager for Venture Taranaki and the Massey University Albany campus. Kathryn has worked for Harcourts before – 20 years ago she contracted for Harcourts Cooper & Co as an in-house writer, and alsowrote features for Property Press, the North Shore Times and Suburban Newspapers.
