Who are "West & Public"?
We have had a few different line ups with
the legendary bassist Scott Purcell cur-
rently out of town on business, which has
brought local soloist, Mick Smart, in to the
fold. Smarty brings a plethora of ability and
swag with him to the band and he will slide
in perfectly for this show. Along with the
rhythm enforce, Rohan Smith, on the skins,
we should be able to create a pretty tight
sound.
What are you playing?
We will be playing Creedence Clearwater
and Cat Stevens songs predominately but
we will throw in a tonne of other rock and
folk songs from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. We
encourage anyone and everyone to dress
up in something they may have worn back
in ‘the day’.
Where are you playing?
The Golf Club have a great setup for an
outdoor stage and normally November
nights aren’t too hot so we are expecting
another cracker of a night out on the first
fairway under the stars. There will be plenty
of tables and lounges to get everyone in
the mood, not to mention an outdoor bar
to save the walk inside.
Why should people rock up?
This will be one of the best nights to leave
the kids at home, practise your singing all
week for the big night and get in to a few
cold drinks after a long week at the Golfy.
We will make sure that you are not disap-
pointed!

"West & Public" are starting their 2015 World
Tour at the Narrabri Golf Club. The band's
