YEAR 9 REPORT
During the course of 2015,
I had the privilege of leading
the Year 9 cohort as their
Year Coordinator. Students
have had a number of
opportunities to develop
their
friendships
and
leadership skills throughout
the year, including the Year 9
Peer Support Day.
One of the highlights for
2015 was the Year 9 Interaction Day, whereby
students were able to engage in social and sporting
initiatives with year 9 De La Salle Catholic College
students. The girls enjoyed meeting, and developing
friendships, with their peers.
In addition the focus of many of our year assemblies
together has included scripture, social justice, caring
for ourmental health,goal setting,resilience,leadership
and academic excellence.The girls have engaged in a
number of creative and team building activities during
our time together and have flourished as a year group.
I congratulate all students who were successful in
their application for school leadership, and wish them
much blessing for the 2016 school year.
