YEAR 8 REPORT
2015 has been a great year
of growth, challenges and
rewards for both myself and
the girls of Year 8.
Resilience was an important
focus in Year 8 and several
of our year assemblies have
revolved around developing
strategies involving effective
communication, self-esteem
and wellbeing.
All Year 8 students participated enthusiastically in the
Interaction Afternoon at De La Salle Cronulla . Year
11 teachers and students helped in running a round
robin of games with the girls and the boys from De La
Salle Caringbah. All students interacted successfully.
The year finished with our Picnic Day at Jamberoo.All
girls had a great time and it was a fitting end to the
year with everyone having fun with their friends.
I would like to thank my wonderful team of Year 8
pastoral teachers Mrs Hallahan, Mrs Hoffman, Mrs
Boss, Mrs Baxter, Mr Sucgang, Miss Caruana and Mr
Abi-Elias for their continual support and their care
and concern for the students.
