All about
the SSAA
Membership
The Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia was established
in 1948 to promote the shooting sports and protect firearm
owners’ interests. With more than 177,000 members, the SSAA
is the premier shooting body representing Australia’s licensed
firearm owners. There are many benefits to SSAA membership,
including representation in Federal Parliament on issues that
affect your sport. You are also entitled to public liability and
personal accident insurance for your target shooting and hunting
activities, and can additionally upgrade to the SSAA’s firearms
insurance option to receive $25,000 worth of firearms and fixed
firearm accessories insurance for just $25 more per year.
