Drowning risk remains the no 1 safety concern for
public pools, this is the case despite significant
efforts by many parties to put in place risk
reduction measures, whether that be education,
supervision, signage, barriers, lifeguards or a
combination of the above.

improve the chance of rescuing distressed
swimmers before it is too late.
