Water of Life, Jesus our Light:
journey from death to new life.
Fountain of light, new sight for the blind:
we come to the water, we come now to see.

Fountain of compassion, freedom from fear:

After the sprinkling the Bishop returns to the chair and, when the
singing is finished, standing with hands joined says:
Bishop:
May God, the Father of mercies,
dwell in this house of prayer.
May the grace of the Holy Spirit cleanse us,
for we are the temple of his presence.
