1.

AUTHORITY

Events organised by the Vintage Sports Car Club of WA Inc. (VSCCWA) shall be conducted under the provisions

of the International Sporting Code of the FIA, the National Competition Rules (NCR) of Confederation of

Australian Motor Sport Ltd. (CAMS), the appropriate Regulations applicable to each activity as outlined in the

CAMS Manual, these Standing Regulations, the Supplementary Regulations issued by the promoter for each Event,

and any Further Regulations that may be issued.

ELIGIBLE VEHICLES

All competing vehicles must comply with the provisions of the eligibility requirements of the categories as defined

in CAMS NCRs, these Regulations or the Supplementary Regulations applicable to each event. All cars competing

must be presented in a neat and tidy condition, and show minimal signs of any previous damage.

4.

ELIGIBLE DRIVERS

To be eligible to score points towards their chosen Championship drivers in any round of the Championship must

hold the minimum of a current Licence as specified in these Regulations.

• Competitors in Regularity Trials must hold the minimum of a CAMS Level 2S Licence.

• Competitors in Race Events must hold the minimum of a CAMS Provisional Clubman Circuit Licence PCC.

Drivers must also adhere to any special conditions applicable to each Category as defined in these Regulations or

as noted in any Supplementary or Further Regulations as they are issued.

All drivers must be financial members of the VSCCWA or have taken out temporary membership of the VSCCWA

on an event by event basis.

5.

PASSENGERS AND SUBSTITUTE DRIVER

No passengers to be carried except in Demonstrations &/or Parades (where Permitted) unless the CAMS State

Office approves the proposal in writing. The Stewards shall be empowered to approve the nomination of a substitute

driver for any car entered in any event at the request of the entrant of the vehicle provided that the nominated

substitute driver is the holder of the appropriate CAMS licence and a financial member of the VSCCWA or other

invited club and has signed all necessary disclaimers.

6.

INSURANCE

Combined Liability Insurance has been affected by the Promoters from CAMS. All drivers and officials are

covered by the Motor Sport Personal Accident Insurance Policy. Further details are available on the CAMS

Website.

Every entrant and driver must sign the Disclaimers and Entrants Statement on the Entry Form before taking part

in any competition Event.

Officials must sign on every day of the event.

7.

USE OF PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES

During any competition, consumption of alcoholic beverages in the paddock, pits or any other portion of the

competition venue under control of the Event officials is expressly forbidden until all practice or competition

activity is concluded for each day. Any driver or crew-member who is found to be affected by alcohol on the day of

the Event or practice therefore shall not be permitted to participate. Refer NCR 145A.

In addition, the persons concerned will be subject to the CAMS Anti-Doping Policy and the Articles of the

Procedure for Alcohol Testing.
