Skills Assessments

It’s important to maintain your professional and vocational knowledge at Bupa, so our people will be

asked to demonstrate their competency every year.

You will be trained/assessed under each of the core skills assessments relevant to your role before

working unsupervised on any task requiring that specific competency. For new starters, this will take

place during your probationary period.

This training and assessments will be undertaken either by your buddy or the line Leader.

Below is a list of Core Skills that will be assessed.

In regards to clinical skills, the assessment will be undertaken either by an appointed preceptor or a

qualified Registered Nurse (RN).

Skills are required as per the table below.
