36 Induction Guide | New Employee

Your performance

Performance appraisal

All employees undergo an annual performance appraisal on their service anniversary. During this

meeting, you will discuss with your manager questions such as:

What are my three greatest achievements from the last 12 months?

What do I enjoy about my current role?

What would I like to improve in my current role?

Am I interested in a Golden Opportunity or further development to progress my career at Bupa?

What can my manager do to improve my experience at Bupa?

Based on your annual performance appraisal and participation in reward and recognition programs,

you may be eligible for certain rewards. Talk to your leader for more information.

Probation review and progress discussion

The first three months of your employment will be a probationary period during which you will

be assessed. Your employment beyond the probationary period will be subject to the satisfactory

completion of the probationary period. You will have a discussion with your GM/Leader at the end of

your probation period to confirm your progress.

More information on your probation period can be found in your employment contract.
