What is your current address, how long have you
been here and what do you believe is the biggest
advantage of this location?
Narrabri Service Centre is located at: Shop 2,
9 Killarney Street, Narrabri and opened on the
8th of April 2016.
The biggest advantage of the location is that
it is highly accessible. High volumes of traffic
pass Narrabri Service Centre daily, so people
can stop in and complete transactions with us
quickly and easily. We have a lot of space for
parking, even for large vehicles and great access
for people with disabilities.
You now cater for a whole host of people and their
needs, could you explain the services you provide?
Local residents of Narrabri are now able to
access more than 970 transactions under the
one roof. We cater to a range of customers
whether they are seeing us to complete business
or personal transactions such as licence renewal,
vehicle and maritime registrations, driver
testing, owner builder permits, Seniors Card
applications, Housing NSW rental payments
and more.
The Service Centre provides transactions on
behalf of more than 40 NSW Government
agencies, including Roads and Maritime
Services, Fair Trading, Births Deaths and
Marriages and Family and Community Services.
How many people are employed here and how
would you sum up the level of experience?
There is a team of six who are very experienced!
Together we have served more than 15,000
customers. We work as a team to support one
another and in turn provide customers with the
very best service.
What are some of the advantages in having such
services at one centre?
The advantage of having a one-stop shop is that
customers in Narrabri can access more than 970
government services and transactions under the
one roof.
The other advantage is the personal attention
we can provide customers. When entering the
service centre, customers are greeted by a
concierge who will assist in ensuring that they
have the correct paperwork and forms with
them – helping to ensure transactions are
completed quickly and without any hassle.
How do the office facilities differ?
Our one stop shop innovative Service Centres
provide modern state of the art facilities that are
designed around the customer, multi-channel
enabling a range of transactions to be delivered,
easy access, quick turnaround and making it
simpler for the customer.
What are the busiest times for the office and can
people book a meeting time?
Lunchtime is our busiest time for customers to
come into the Service Centre.
There are a number of transactions for which
you can book an online appointment. Having
appointments for these complex transactions
means we can provide better efficiencies for our
customers.
Can you envisage any further expansion of
service at the centre?
Yes. Service NSW is constantly evolving and
adding new services to our network to make
it easier for customers to access government
services and transactions.
