InsideRadiology?
InsideRadiology
au) is a multidisciplinary, evidence-based
resource developed and managed by
RANZCR. It has been online since 2009
and covers close to 100 topics, with
specific information targeted at both
consumers and referring clinicians for
most items.
As part of the ongoing development
process, users are asked to undertake a
short survey based on their experience
of using the website and resources.
This is a voluntary exercise, but one that
provides the InsideRadiology team with
valuable insight into what the end users
are seeking from the website.
The optional survey has had in
excess of 1,000 responses in the 2016
calendar year to date (Jan–Apr), and
approximately 9,000 since the survey
was introduced in early 2011.
Two-thirds of survey respondents
identify as health consumers, and
a further 20 per cent as health
professionals. A mix of responses have
been received, including constructive
feedback, which has been used to
inform website development. The
majority of visitors (98 per cent) report
that they have found the information
they were seeking and, of those that
have, 95 per cent have found it useful.

presented in an easy to understand yet
authoritative and reassuring manner.’
