How did you come to be living
out at Burren Junction?
We came to live near Burren just
over three and half years ago
when my husband, Jamie, ac-
cepted a position on a farm half
way between Burren & Rowena.
What is Kiki&moo?
Kiki&moo is my brand of hand-
made, predominately children’s
clothes made from natural fibres.
I dabble in a few accessories and
toys too.
Kiki&moo is my sanity… my crea-
tive outlet...earning a little money
is a bonus!
How did you get started?
I got started nearly five years ago
when I was looking for simple
dresses for my daughter. I had
exactly what I wanted in my mind
but had trouble finding it.
I bought a pattern for the dress,
bought the fabric, dusted off my
sewing machine and the rest is
history!
I must mention though, I didn’t
know how to sew at that point! ...
so this is when my little journey
to teaching myself how to sew
began.
Now I challenge myself regularly,
trying different patterns, tech-
niques and different fabrics...
wanting to always improve the
brand’s quality rather than the
brand’s quantity.
Why the name “Kiki&moo”?
kirsten goddard
Paris, Milan, New York, London and now
Burren Junction... Kirsten's handmade
"Kiki&moo" kids' clothing would be right at
home on the world's most fashionable
runways... or in any art gallery!
