Minutes of General Meeting – 12 October 2015
1. Meeting opened:
8.05pm
2. Apologies:

Michael Henderson.
Presentation of Collie Coalfields 500 Trophies (list in VM):
Paul Bartlett presented the
trophies to the winners of each event from the CC500 to those that were present and some
collected on behalf of winners. Paul outlined a system of lowest points scored for a meeting,
awarding a prize for this. The car/driver must complete nominated laps, within time
allocated and have no DNF. Paul would have actually won the trophy for this if it had been
in place for Collie. This system will be in place for upcoming Stampede.
3. New Members and Guests:
Doug Todd - has Mick Geneff ’s old car (Ballot) which he is
trying to reconstruct.

6. Treasurer’s Report:
As Evan was not present he did get President Ian Fry to present that
total is $251,839.47 but still some accounts outstanding, and all membership in.

8. Motion put to members in 3 parts by Thomas Benson,
wording as follows:
“PART 1.
“That the VSCC of WA write to the board of CAMS and the CEO outlining in the strongest
possible terms, their objection to:
“1. The vilification of club members by officers of CAMS.
“2. The behaviour of CAMS council members whom appear to be operating contrary to
acceptable standards of governance.
“3. Members of State council who show demonstrable bias towards the club by their failure
to properly investigate and report acts by CAMS members whom have brought the club and
CAMS and the sport into disrepute.
“4. The practice of trolling club websites and communications garnishing information
