Bay to Birdwood and Motorfest 2016
VSCC members have been invited to enter the 2016 Bay to Birdwood Run. This is the 30th
anniversary run, the latest in a sequence of events that began back in 1986 when Adelaide
hosted the second of its 11 World Championship Grand Prix races. It will be run on Sunday
September 25.
The route is shown on the map below and details of the event and entry forms are available
on the VSCC web site
( www.vsccwa.com.au). Entries for the Bay to Birdwood Run close on
August 5.
The Federation of Historic Motoring Clubs SA has invited VSCC members to participate in
the 2016 Motorfest, which runs from the 19th to the 30th of September 2016. Entries Close
5 September 2016.
The programme and entry form for Motorfest are also available on the VSCC web site.
Motorfest provides a fortnight of interesting and fun events. Please choose from the
programme events in which you wish to participate, make your selections, complete the
coupon and return to the Entry Director. Further details will then be sent to you.
The programmed Day Run to York for the VSCCWA 30th Anniversary will be held on the
11th September, 2016.
The destination in York will be the carpark in Low Street which is behind the Motor
Museum.
There are barbecues, toilet block and picnic tables available in the park across the road,
which is in a pleasant location by the river, or alternatively there are restaurants and cafes in
the main street.
The Motor Museum is offering half-price entry to members and partners ($5 per head).
Details of the Run to York will be finalised and confirmed by the July general meeting of the
VSCC on July4.
